joiner charges

I want to have my 3 bedroom doors re-hanged on the the opposite side of where they are now (they currently open out in the middle of the room and i would like them to be against the wall when fully opened) i've been quoted by a joiner £60.00 to get this done.

Can i ask if this seems a fair cost please - i'm in THE North West.

Thank you

yes that seems very fair down in london they charge 25.00 per door and that is for a chipie not a joiner.

Gotta agree with the last post, that is a very fair price from a joiner.

It's an excellent price. Believe it or not I was charged a whopping £85 to have a bedroom door changed to open on the opposite side of the door frame last year. This was from a carpenter who I was using to do other jobs in the house at the same time. I was a bit gobsmacked as I'd assumed it would only cost in the region of £25.

The next door I had changed cost me £75, using a different person, so this is obviously the average price per door here in rip off London. :(
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
