email from ups?

just been checking mums emails when i came across this one

Hello!

Unfortunately we failed to deliver the package you have sent on the 4th of January in time
because the recipient’s address is erroneous.
Please print out the invoice copy attached and collect the package at our department.

United Parcel Service of America.

we are in the uk so im not sure if this email is for a parcel sent from america?
as far as we are aware we are not expecting anything from america (i could be wrong).

also the email address isnt my mums but it got sent to mums email address iyswim

it has a attachment and obviously i am wary of opening it.

any opinions welcome x

If that is her real e-mail you have posted it might be a good idea to edit it out otherwise it will get harvested by a spambot.

It be a scam, the attachment probably contains a something nasty (virus/trojen horse etc), so ignore and delete

DON'T OPEN IT !!!!!! I did...........took two days in techie forum to sort my computer out.
