Is Citibank Online Banking down?

    I recently had this problem and rang the Citibank helpline. unfortunately they told me that my account had been closed and my funds sent to an account in my name, which I am not the holder of!! :( they told me the account name, sortcode and account number so I am going to contact them to see what they can do.

    I would ring them ASAP!! I hope you haven't got that same problem!!

    They haven't issued you with a new Citicard by any chance? That does seem to cause things to 'break'.

  • oops didn't notice the date that the first post was made!
    but I just assumed that it was a technical fault that would be sorted in a few days but when it didn't change I decided to call them. It might not be the same problem, I just found this post before I rang them and it obviously didn't help since there wasn't a reply!
  • yeah i do have a card but i can't use it for transactions. that's not the problem
