west quay (llyods) in brighton marina..bad food

Options
Just wanted to tell everyone, who visits Brighton..and pop over to the Marina..not to go to the West Quay (lloyds) for food.. it may look cheap, so is the quality..
our food took over 1 hr..parents have roast beef as it was the special on sunday!! very dry, hade to water it down with gravy..

my paella.. was below par standards..the mussels have sand still in them, the squid were frozen packs cos they were rock solid..and it was a small potion..
nevertheless.. that night I was sitting on the toilet..!!

wish we went to the other arrays of restaurants along the marina

My overall experience of Brighton was great ...nice weather and lots to see..:rotfl:

Freezing squid breaks it down and makes it less tough, eating it though whilst frozen?Did you complain about that-wouldnt that have been enough to get a refund?LOts of restaurants serve frozen food though.-well i mean, they usually cook it first!Hope you soon recovered
