I have taken both mine from being small, your biggest challenge will be fitting all the stuff in the car, but you know how it is you get it all in somehow(although my OH does a lot of huffing and puffing!)
Use the travel cot you've got if you can as they are good to pop outside on the grass as a playpen. Or if your using a ready bed then take a few small windbreaks to sort of 'fence off' a play area in the front of the tent to stop escapees.
With clothes, I found it was better to have just a small amount of 'grubby' stuff that I didn't mind them getting dirty and saving one outfit for when I wanted them to look decent. An all in one waterproof suit is good for when the grass is damp and folds up to nothing.
Just go for it, you'll have a great time.
Mine still come with me now, I can't get away with just the two of us, they go bonkers if we try to camp alone, they are 20 and 17 AND they have their own camping stuff. No flippin' peace.
