Lake Como - Self Catering any tips?

Hi, looking at a week around Lake Como arriving 23 Aug returning 30 Aug. Am looking for some cheap s/c accomodation for 2 adults and 2 children aged 5 & 7. Any one any suggestions of where to look or any personal recommendations?
