This 75 cl bottle of sparkling perry 5.5% alc vol is not too bad actually.
Struggle to pop the plastic cork as there's very little pressure in the bottle. Taste all right if you like sweet white wine. In my local branch they had loads. Offer lasts until stock runs out.

"CAMRA defines perry and pear cider as quite different drinks, stating that "pear cider" as made by the large industrial cidermakers is merely a pear-flavoured drink, or more specifically a cider-style drink flavoured with pear concentrate, whereas "perry" should be made by traditional methods from perry pears only"

Pear cider and Perry are not the same thing at all.0 -
"The term Pear Cider is sometimes used and is considered equivalent to perry by some industry bodies."

In my LIDL, they still had a bit of the stuff left. I bought two cases (24 Bottles) and walked a mile up the hill carrying about 32 kilos on my sturdy old shopping wheels. It gave me a slight sweat on my forehead! I took the bag off the frame and tied the two cases of plonk with three bicycle elastics. It did the trick. Now they're all ready to be consumed. (One by one though:p). We're taking a couple of bottles to some friends tonight. I won't tell them how much I paid for them.:rotfl:0
