Cheap 'champagne' in LIDL for £1.

I'm enjoying a glass of 'Chaumet Premium Brut' bought in LIDL for a quid.
This 75 cl bottle of sparkling perry 5.5% alc vol is not too bad actually.
Struggle to pop the plastic cork as there's very little pressure in the bottle. Taste all right if you like sweet white wine. In my local branch they had loads. Offer lasts until stock runs out.

They had this in and christmas time, got a few bottle then was pretty good considering the price tag, took in to a friends for christmas dinner and no-one guessed it was mega cheap stuff - until the OH told them !

Very palatable stuff for a quid, get some delboy lables printed. knock it out as Peckam Springs Champers, chateaux de Nelson Mandela house at £5 a pop :rotfl:

That's coincidental, I found some sink cleaner in Fortnum &Mason that tasted of bloody good Lidl champers.........

my usual sparkly is a bottle of £1.99 pink lady the strawberrys are usually dearer so this means i can get twice as :rotfl:(i do like these smileys)
