Well todays the day! No its not my Dolmio day its BR day, and I jusst thought I would share my horoscope (courtessy of Google) with you all because I though it was rather pertinent!

You are caught in a strange spot in the fabric of time today as the New Moon activates your 12th House of Destiny. It's apparent that big changes are about to unfold in your life, but first you must bring an old project to conclusion. Once you finish tying up loose ends, only then will you be allowed to move into the next phase of your life.

I feel like the washing machine is on spin cycle in my stomach, but only 3 hours to go so had better get my kids ready for school and get myself together. I'm brickin it.

More later! Thanks for all the support up until now!

Thats exactly how we managed to get such a quick appointment. The woman who dealt with our paperwork said that they usually only do 4 BRs a day, but the rest of the Judge's list had cancelled so they had added an extra BR in and we bagged the appointment.

Found the court very daunting (and dusty) I think the lack of signage and explanation of what the process was was why. No where in the court was clearly signed and there was nothing telling us what we needed to do really. You had to go and ask different members of staff all the time. Tho that said it was pretty painless and over within 1.5 hours in total.

Clerk who went thru the paperwork with us was brilliant, and made me feel ike she was really bothered about our case, the Judge was very nice when she called us in, had 1 question for us and then happily signed the papers.

That was us BR by 11:07am this morning. I feel kinda giddy!!!

Been to see the Banks as we already have a joint account at Co-op and I have an account at Barclays. Co-op said although our account isn't a cashminder account going bankrupt will not change it, due to the fact its been open a while and we are running it fine. No overdraft on it anyway, so I am very happy with that. Barclays on the other hand were a bit different. My account will be closed and if I want an account I will need to open another one at the weekend. Tho the woman was very nice and said that she wouldn't send off my paperwork about the account till later in the week so I have a chance to withdraw my money on Friday from my NHS Bursary. Am I allowed to do that????

Anyway, Hubby and I (having skipped breakfast) treated ourselves to a sandwich and chips for lunch and now we are home waiting to fetch the kids from school. Must dye hair tonight - cover up all the grey! xxx

Glad it all went well for you today. Another stage dealt with.

I would just say about withdrawing your bursary, it would be best to let the OR know you would like to take the money out before you go ahead. You have signed all control of your accounts etc over to them.

I had some late benefit payment go into one of my accounts about a week after BR by mistake and phoned the OR to let them know. They gave me permisssion to withdraw it so im glad I phoned and didnt just go ahead, peace of mind!!
