OMG OMG OMG, head between knees, breathing into a brown paper bag. :silenced:
I have just rang the court and because I needed 2 slots, 1 each for both myself and my hubby and the only day they could offer me to petition for BR was my Birthday (25th March) a lovely woman phoned me back after talking to her manager.
They have us 2 appointments for MONDAY  at 10am!!!!!!
I was expecting a bit more time than that, but happy to take the appointments because we have the money ready and I really don't want to have to pay an extra £180 to do the same thing but after 6 April!
I'm in shock of how quickly they got us in! Head in a spin. Need to finish the forms and no doubt be here online all weekend asking questions and being a pest, so that we are ready for it all on Monday.
Will I still be ok to live in our house, even tho we intend to leave it to reposession. No arrears on mortgage yet, but need that money to go towards a rental!!! Oh Gosh.

Don`t panic you will be fine. Just ask as many questions as you need and we will try and help you. You will be fine, and to be honest there is no benefit in delaying the inevitable if you have your fees available.:pB&SC No. 298

Hopefully the fact it's a bit more rushed means that you won't have time to get tooo stressed out about it and if you've decided then there's no point waiting is there? Hopefully you will be able to put this mess behind you and move on to a new life soon.
Best of Luck

How much can I save in 2012 challenge
75/1200 :eek:0 -
Look on the bright side, you haven't time to dwell on it too much (probably done that enough already), pouring over and over and over the forms doesn't help at all, only makes you constantly second guess yourself and worry even more.
In 3 days time it will be done and as you say it won't cost you an extra £90 each.
Don't worry ORs aren't in the habit of turfing people out on the street.
Good luck0 -
That's fab!! Just a couple of days and it will be all over, good luck!! x0

BR today. It was quite painless. Good luck with yours.
just a word of warning though, don't leave printing off your BR forms until the morning of your court date as we did. It took nearly 1 hour to print of 6 38 page docs. We nearly missed our appointment!!
Again good luck0 -
Brill news on the early appointment it is sooooooo much better than draggin it out and as you say you will save on the hike in BR fees from April.
I wish you the very best of luck. you will not regret it and the time flies by. Just try to breathe and relax over the weekend (easier said than done i know!) but before you kno it it will be Monday night and you will wonder where the day went :beer:Discharged May 20100 -
I agree with everyone else...its good you got earlier slots gives you less time to worry now!! besides i'll bet soon as you come from court you'll both be thinking "hmm....was that it??"...and enjoy the best nights sleep in a long time monday nightWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
