I am intolerant to coconut so never eat it, but DH likes many coconut related items so I'm contemplating what to buy to make them.
I'm thinking I'll be using it for korma or satay, that kind of thing.
Having a look at Tesco it comes in so many forms, I don't know which is best. Also, bear in mind it will usually only be used for small servings so I'm looking for something I can use in small amounts.
Should I buy tins of coconut milk, or I've seen dired coconut milk, or creamed coconut in block form...which is best?

I'd have a go with the dried coconut milk as you're not restricted to serving-size with no concerns about how long it will keep in the fridge for once opened. If you have any asian or ethnic grocers nearby you will probably find it's cheaper than the supermarkets. I have a Turkish grocers not far away and almost everything is cheaper and the choice is out of this world.0

I would also go for dried coconut milk, as you can make as little or as much as you need. I usually buy mine in the chinese supermarket.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I use this too. 65p in ASDA.
I live on my own, and 1 sachet and 100ml (½ a 200ml pot) of cheap plain yoghurt does a batch of 2 servings of Chicken Korma.
You can add ½ a teaspoon of mint sauce to the leftover yoghurt to make some mint raita.

            Hi There
My OH uses coconut milk - you can get tiny tins in most asian delis. a tiny tin is usually enough for one curry that serves two people, assuming you are adding other ingredients.
We buy the tins as its quick and easy and you get the flavour without the dried coconut flakes.

I use coconut in lots of different dishes, sweet and savoury. If you can find the powdered coconut milk, that is your best bet. keep it in a jar,and it keeps for a long time.Loving the sunny days!0
