Vinyl wall tiles

Hello all
Has anyone here fitted vinyl wall tiles please? I know ordinary tiles would be alot less hassle and a damn site cheaper but the elderly lady who wants the work done is insistent on vinyl self-adhesive wall tiles, hence my question. Any experiences, good or bad, from you good people? Thank you kindly.

I've never used them but am assuming its a case of making sure the wall is level, free from dust and grease and (if new plaster) make sure it is sealed.
Seems an odd thing to have on a wall!Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
