Poundworld have gardening bargains

I have been in today and bought loads of stuff for garden. I got 6 square plastic planters (about a foot square), green or terracotta, they also have troughs at 2 for £1, solar garden lights: not just the plastic ones in a box but some nice stainless steel ones too. I use the lights in our back garden as its quite dark it just highlights the path at night, as we have a dog and I often go out the back with him. They dont give loads of light, but enough to mark a path. I also got Doff Lawn food (they had plant food and tomato food too), some of those wooden push in border fence things, 2 rolls of chicken wire and some lily of the valley plants. They also had various trellis things, seeds, perennial plants in packs of peat, and all those windmill/ornament things, plus usual bird feeders etc. Oh yeah, they had seed potatoes too.
I think the only problem is they dont have them in all year round and they just get them in in the spring and then they seem to disappear.

Sounds like it's worth going down there to have a look. The rolls of chicken wire seem a good buy, and last time I went down they had fleece rolls.0

Morning everyone - I went yesterday and yes, they had loads, still had the fleece rolls, various plant foods, allsorts of different pots/planters - I got some of those window ledge pots with the soil and seeds in that you re-hydrate, plant and then pop the lid back on - Chives, thyme, rocket, courgette, peppers - don't know how good they'll be but worth trying for that price! Bought some bigger pots to put them into when and if they grow! Well worth the trip though! If Life Deals You a Lemon - Make Lemonade!! :j0
