Not sure where the right place for this is, but I know lots of DFWs are collecting the Sun £9.50 holiday vouchers, so I've posted it there as well. If you have one of the priority booking forms that the Sun newspaper send out to ppl who have booked before, the code at the top allows you to book online by submitting the code words on the vouchers. HERE'S THE GOOD BIT. As you don't have to submit the actual vouchers, you can book multiple holidays with just one set of six vouchers - I've just done it and booked two hols with the same codes. It also means that you can share the codes with friends and family, and book on their behalf, then change the name on the contact sheet. Woo hoo! just spotted my first loophole. My mum would be so proud.
That's not a loophole, it's a con. It conly costs 30-odd pence a day to but the paper. You could be taking a holiday from someone who has paid for the paper and saved the vouchers.
Honestly. Some people are just plain greedy.

So does this mean that people who look on here for the codes rather than buy the paper are conning the sun? I think not. The site is about SAVING MONEY

remember they do weekends too. my son is at school age so mid week is no good. But I choose all weekend breaks. Last year I got my first choice and date. The last token is in Sundays paper. No time to start now but I have noticed the vouchers for sale on e-bay for 50p-£1 each. Thing is if you don't collect vouchers you can still get a break direct with the park for around the same price. Holiday price pp plus the service and pass charges usually comes to £80-£100 depending on how many people. Also you get basic accommodation. You can get a weekend in most holiday parks in Oct/Nov for £89-£99 for a 2 bed caravan or chalet. So don't worry if you miss out.

I have sent off my form today so fingers crossed.

My friend has got three tokens and intends to get the paper tomorrow. I have got a starter token he could have. He has also been promised the bonus token (HOLS) and his mom has got a small token from somewhere (small and shiny, I suspect she got from someone with a priority booking). He is not sure which two tokens he should use. Are there any rules about using bonus and starter tokens together?

we have been on a fair few sun holidays so far
and have never been able to get a "direct from the park" holiday for the same price !!

we always have saved at least £100 by booking with the sun, even after passes, service charge added on!

and when we went to france twice,we saved nearly £300 !! ( wasnt even school holidays ! )

    :T

its worth looking to see how much it would be direct with the park ( i always do ) before booking with the sun

    xx

Yes I think it does. It's still a saving, buying the paper and saving the codes.
There's always some who will ride the system to the hilt.

    Two questions;

Have you ever been on a sun holiday?

    Have you ever booked online?

Have you ever used this or other sites to obtain codes?

If the answer is yes yes and no then I can only assume you are mistaken. I buy the Sun most days but didn't get my priority form until late last week so I looked on this site for the codes as I didn't bother saving the coupons due to only being able to go on a certain date.

I sometimes wonder if we have modern day saints on this site. I am not just referring to this thread, but some people must lead whiter than white lives. Or so they tell us.

Depends where you go I guess. In March I got a weekend half board in butlins Bognor for 2A 1C for £87. I went to Park resorts Highfield Grange in November and we got a 3bed caravan for £99 for the weekend. We have got Haven Caister and The orchards both for less that £100 for a weekend. This is always booking last min or When they have deals. Pontins have a sale in Jan every year and they have crazy prices. We even saw a weekend in Pontins, Camber Sands for £65 for 4. You just have to look. Sign up for newsletters. Keep an eye on the Butlins website when they have a sale its normally very good. Also when you book direct there is no service and pass charge. I haven't used the sun voucher to go to France. Seeing as its only school term breaks, there don't seem much point in going so far. But we have used Eurocamp in France and Italy in the past and got accommodation for like £12 a night.
