Hi
Can anybody tell me if claiming back ppi on a store card is the same as that from a loan.
I have successfully received a payment of £2300 from HFC (after one week) and thought I would try with my store card for the same reasons, however, I have had this account for the past 10 years and only just discovered that I have ppi. I know, should have read my statements, but paid by dd so never scrutinised the statement.
I have also included in the letter 2 statements from the internet saying that because I am a public sector employee I didnt need any ppi as I would have been over insured. Do you think that might help or a bit over the top?
Any ideas. thanks Michelle

Hi Michelle and yes you can.
You can reclaim PPI on anything where you were mis sold, be aware though not all are called PPI, may come under a different name but with your reasons you can still reclaim, the same way you have done with loan ppi.
This also includes credit card ppi, catalologues, car finance, if they sold the insurance along with the finance etc, many things.
Your reasons are fine, if you were already protected by being a public sector employee then why should you pay out for both.;)
Good luck.
