  • Swan's sweet shop sells it in the Renton in Scotland. It's made nearby by a farm shop in Cardross.

I bought the orange and the raspberry and didn't like either of them. Maybe some sugar would have helped.

There is a wee sweetie shop in Alloa that sell Kramola Fizz(cremola foam is a copy right)
, which is made by a guy called Alan K McCandlish from Dunbarton(seemingly took him 9 years to get the recipe right:T) wee tubs are about £2.50, and large £4.50?
Google him and you should get his address phone number but no web site?
Rasberry tastes nice but I did not like the orange and still have two wee tubs in my cupboard( both smell like they did way back:p I will get the name of the sweetie shop in Alloa posted tomorrow, its a quirky wee place well worth a once in a life time visit and they sell sweetie tabacco and keep toy cars (Dinky kind )in the Fridge!!!

i vaguelly remember this....thought it was horrible!however im glad that its back on the shelves somewhere for those that enjoyed it
  • I remember it my stepmother used to buy it all the time, she was addicted to the stuff. I always thought it was weird stuff, like drinking wet sherbet.
She also used to buy Cemola custard, that was quite nice a lot thicker than birds, not seen any for years though. anyone remember that?

I think I was the only child in Scotland who didn't like it!

It reminded me of Andrew's liver salts that my granny used to make us drink if we foolishly mentioned "sore tummy" in front of her.

You weren't - I hated it too. Even the though of it now makes me feel ill.

I used to love cremola foam when I was a wee girl but it got banned in our house because it made me fart like a trooper!

  • My kids got hooked on a similar thing that we got on holiday in the States a few years ago, it was called Crystal Light and seems to be a big seller over there with loads of varieties available. Don't think it is as fizzy as Creamola Foam was but I may be wrong, it's been a long, long time since I tasted it!

Ha ha brings back memories when you used to spoon in into your mouth for it to go all fizzy, your ended up with tears in your eyes, either through choking on it or your mother giving you a 'scone round the lug' for being so disgusting!!!
Will have to head to Arbroath someday to get some!

  • There's a shop in Shawlands, Glasgow that sells this stuff, I think it's called Candylicious or something like that, I bought the orange and raspberry stuff, it's quite nice, but I can't remember how it compares to the real stuff.
