CD Player Thingy With Staples (CLOSED)

and there was a cd player in the box too :beer:

it even comes with a remote control

Edit: It just turned up, don't expect much from it PP's terrible quality but well worth £3.XX ish

I got the cd player this morning, the box it came in was gigantic but the cd player came in a much smaller undecorated box inside. First impressions are it looks reasonable for free, quite like that you can see the cd spinning away. The speakers however are not good enough for my ears, but fortunately there are two ways around this. There is a handy headphone socket on the front which when used increases the quality of music showing up the speakers. So you can connect PC speakers or other ones through a headphone jack.

Alternatively, the cd player has 2x2 red and black wires coming out the back which plug into the speakers, luckily, I have some decent speakers which have the same type wires coming out the back, so i have joined the leads together and the sound quality is very good now. Havent tried the remote as it doesnt come with batteries and cant be bothered to find some (2 AAA).

PS. The ruler is average

Hope mine comes today too(may have ordered too late though.) Hope they havent run out as loads of people have read this thread. I got the screwdriver set last time..its great, i still use it.

seems like people are getting theirs a sthey type so am trying it out - could do with it for ds1's birthday party this afternoon so i don't have to take the big stereo!
not working, no parcel yet! worth a try though.
