2 fingers to Game - buy Nintendo DS Lite from Comets - a good bundle deal available

If you're off on your holidays, or know someone who is, HMV tax-free shops had some package deals available.

IIRC console alone was £85, console+game (we got Brain Training) was ~£97, console+game+starter pack incl. case, emergency charger etc was £106. This was out of Stansted - Dixons tax-free deals were abysmal in comparison - console+Brain Training for £115.

Its a shame all the bundles seem to have crummy games like Cars and Pirates of the Carribean. Ping pals doesn't even count as a game as the built in picochat is superior in every way.

Anyone spotted any bundles including a few of the following: Brain Training/Academy, Tony hawks, mario (64/kart/super), warioware touched, advance wars, castlevania, metroid, kirby, phoenix wright, trauma centre, project rub, etc.. ??

Shouldn't be this hard to find a good bundle...

NB: sprung is the 3rd worst rated DS game ever. Ping pals is on average rated at 3/10.

try looking on https://www.hotukdeals.com under vouchers look for littlewoods. Seek and ye shall find

HMV have console + starter kit (case, earphones, spare stylus) + any game for £124.98. Also you can get a further 10% off if you take out one of their Style cards (not recommended for all people though)!

sprung and ping pal are worthless. Ping Pal in particular since it is already built into the DS!!

The coloured ones are the original DS - a bit more bulky and the screens are not quite as bright!

Toys r us are doing an excellent deal on the original DS, with 5 games (mario kart, james pond, golden nugget, texas hold'em, and animaniacs) for about £124 but they are out of stock atm.

I have emailed them to ask if they are getting more but I havent had any response yet.

If its the lite your after I havent see any half decent packages :rolleyes:

Well i know 10 ppl with ds's and i have one myself and none of them have ping pals built into it !!??
