oh no we have not done that. i follow the instructions to the letter, alfie is my little boy and we would never do anything to hurt him. which is why im so concerned with his fleas, he doesnt have loads, maybe a couple at the most but of course i want to tackle the problem in the most effective way for him. our other little one Defa, never gets them, just Alfie, they must like him. i also clean the house, skirtingboards etc to try and get them.
shall try to get some front line and see how we go with that otherwise we will have to go back to the vets and obtain theirs, in 2 months time
cheers
bye for now, home time for me

The fleas don't live on the dogs, they are in your home/garden etc so it would be worth treating your house too with a spray which will provide protection for up to 12months. Now is the best time to do it as the eggs & larvae are now starting to hatch out and will cause an infestation if not dealth with promptly.
You can buy Vetkem Acclaim online. It's about £10 a tin and is sufficient to treat an entire 3-bed house.

I'm not sure what you mean by "flea catchers" but whatever they are I suspect they won't kill fleas at all stages of their life cycle as the spray does.
Your choice obviously, but I spray my house without fail every April and for £10 it gives me peace of mind that my home will remain flea-free all year round.
It also saves me money on flea treatments as I only treat my cats every 3mths as a precaution, even though I can't see any evidence of fleas.
Keeping my home/cats flea free costs me just £30 a year :money:“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
