I am always on the cautious side with anything I read in the Daily Heil!:rotfl:0 -
TBH, ive gone for these before and other DM "Free Plants", their not worth the bother, the plants are Tiny, and nearly all didnt grow.0

Haven't bothered with any of the others but quite fancy todays offer of ten strawberry plants for £4.25 or £2.65 with S.A.E as i haven't got my strawberrys sorted out yet. Is this offer good value? has anyone had experience of the strawberrys on offer from previous years?
Thanks0 -
I've missed the mail on saturday with the offers in it! I only found out today that there was an offer in there for flowers/bulbs and veggie seeds!
Does anyone know how I can get these vouchers/offers without the paper... or buy a back issue of the paper!
Please help!!!0 -
I took up the offer for 'free' summer bulbs the last time they did it and the only plants that grew were the Iris's and the Gladioli. Only 1 of the Gladioli actually flowered. Very disappointing.0

The offers are daily, two different plants/fruit/flowers each day then a few normal priced ones also, it's not a token collecting offer like many of us originally thought you fill the slip out in the paper daily & send it off with the price which seems to average £3.99 we should know nothing is free!. Saturdays edition was just telling you each day what would be on offer, some seem worth it & others not. Think you may need the paper really. To be honest no-one seems to be raving about them so i don't think you have missed out on much!0

Furny,
Thank you for that! I will instruct my other half to buy the paper every day! It would be a waste because we use our old newpapers to make seed pots to start off our veggie seeds in!
Thank You again!0 -

P.S.
Wednesdays offer is Strawberry plant & Salad Seeds.
Thursdays Offer is the Stargazer Lillies & Giant Begonias.
Fridays offer is hardy Geranium Collection & Kitchen garden vegetable seeds.
So you are not too late for the vegs, the thing you have to pay is the P&P price, no there is no such thing as free! which you do not know until the day, it only says what they are worth, it depends which ones you need/want suppose .0 -

Personally, I think it's bonkers to spend almost £250 a year on a newspaper, which is what the Mail costs if you have it every day. Just think of the plants and seeds you could buy with that!0
