I am after a bank account that offers car breakdown and Family travel insurance, the ones I have found so far is:

    ltsb do one £12 a month for the first two full months, £17 after that

    But generally all the main banks have this kind of account

    First Direct, £12 per month and free for the 1st 3 months......

    don't just go for the cheapest one

    Look for the account with features you'll actually use and that are good value for money. If you will only use one or two of the features its very likely that you will get better value buying separate policies.

    e.g if car breakdown and family travel insurance are all you will use, prices on the accounts mentioned on this page range from £114 - £210 per year. I would imagine most accounts provide basic cover so this may be over the odds.

    Indeed. If you just want travel insurance and breakdown cover you will often get the same or better coverage for less by buying these separately rather than choosing a packaged bank account.
