Glasses Direct

Options
I recently ordered a pair of glasses on line from glassesdirect.com. I was told by e mail that they would be with me in 14 day. After 18 days I sent them an e mail asking whether they had been despatched. I should say that the cost was taken from my account the same day I ordered them.

Two days ago I got an e mail back from them asking for my post code, which I sent, since then - nothing.

I e mailed them again this morning saying that there was obviously a problem with my order, and asking them to please let me know what was happening. No reply.

Has anyone else ordered from this firm?

Sorry to hear of your bad experience. I ordered from them last month no problems - took about a week for delivery. I guess all companies stuff up sometimes.

I don't mind them making a mistake if they would admit to it, just leaving me not knowing what is happening is doing my head in. Still no reply, where do I go next?

I've just rechecked their terms and conditions and it does say allow up to 28 days for delivery. Should I just wait and see?

I ordered from them and everything was fine, but I've had mine a few months now and the paint has worn off the arms!

I wouldn't mind the paint coming off, I paid over £100 at specsavers and the paint came off round the eyepieces within four months. I wouldn't mind but I hardly wear them as I use contacts most of the time

Well I've just had a phone call from them, admitting that my order had got lost in the system, profuse apologies and a promise of urgent action.

If they had admitted this when I first asked I would have been better pleased but alls well that ends well, hopefully:j
