Lost item help

I have just received a message from one of my buyers stating their item hasnt been received, I have checked via royal mail who can confirm that it has been delivered. What do I do next ? Am i in the position where I have to refund the buyer ?
I am a bit concerned as they have changed their feedback to private and received 4 negs in the last month since buying from me, they also purchase vast amounts of the type of things I sell which are all delivered to a business address.
Whats the website that shows you what they got their feedback for ? goofbay used it but its stopped
Thanks in advance

Did you post using special delivery? Did the buyer pay with PayPal and if so did you send it to the address stated on PayPal?-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Tell them that Royal Mail say that its been delivered - though which method of postage did you send it by?
I would let them file a dispute and see what happens from there - though unless it was special delivery they will probably win!

how can royal mail confirm the delivery? you must have sent it recorded or special delivery if you did then they can confirm the person that signed for it if the names match then great.
Another thing would be to clear out your paypal account if that is how you received payment.
As your the seller then it is your responsibilty to get the item to the buyer, you contracted royal mail to deliver the item if they have failed you need to make the claim against RM0 -
Ive spoken to royal mail who say I cant claim from them as the item has been delivered, so its a case of someones lying, and it isnt me !!

if a dispute is raised with paypal, you only need to provide them with the reference number from the recorded delivery slip, they will then confirm with royal mail that it has been signed for and you win......smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

if it wasnt signed for..... postie would not have left it........... they would have left a red card saying 'tried to deliver a letter/parcel' with boxes ticked indicating what it was
also as mentioned clear out your paypal account, otherwise any cahs will be stuck in there whilst the dispute is in motionsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....
