I got two last year, one ripped the other didn't. Both teared where the zip attached to the plastic, which i just taped up. I left the covers on over winter...went to unzip the unripped one a few days back and the plastic shredded like sugar paper!! Apparently, i should have taken the covers off over winter - when they get loads of ultra violet light the plastic shreds!

I'm keeping the frames, buying new covers and taking them off, cleaning, drying and rolling up away safe over winter this time! IF that works - then they could be worth it value wise, at the minute tho i'm wishing i'd just gone n bought a polycarbonate greenhouse!!

You must secure it to a wall! Mine was weighted down with bricks last year and still blew over leaving the contents in a mess on the ground. It was a heck of a job sorting it all out - I did manage to save quite a few of the seedlings though. It's now secured to a wall at two points with cup hooks. HTH.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have had one of these that I bought from Homebase about 3 years ago.

We have replaced the cover a couple of times as it does disintegrate but we leave ours out all year long. It's in the corner of the garden backing onto the house and has never moved, however, it is weighted down on one side by some old wooden fence posts!

The framework does rust after a few years but as long as it is stable I shall carry on using it.

I am not going to buy anymore covers though as the last replacement didn't fit properly, I can only get one side of the door to zip up, it is too tight on the frame to zip up the full door.

I am going to do what I did last year and buy one of these from B&Q.

    http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?isSearch=true&fh_search=heavy+duty+repair+sheet&x=15&y=10

It fitted the entire length of the greenhouse and down the sides to about 2' off the floor and about halfway down the back. I may buy two this year and some specialist tape. I just slipped it between the frame which held it in place and the old cover.

i bought one of these a few weeks ago and put it up late week.

    1) It was horrible to put up and took me ages. The instructions were ok but the connectors all look the same but are slightly different. Fiance had to save me and come out and move a few connectors!

    2) It is much bigger than it looks which was a plus point for me

    3) It comes with tent pegs to anchor it down. However after building i decided to retire to the house for a cup of tea and left it in the middle of the lawn. The dogs used it as a roundabout to run around and knocked the plants off the shelf that i had lovingly put on there a few minutes earlier. My fault though as i hadn't tent pegged it down.

    4) For the money £40 i think i paid i think you would be hard pushed to get anything better for the money. Its now tent pegged down in the correct area of the garden. I've put grow bags over the bottom frames to hold it in place and i think its a brilliant value for money greenhouse that i will probably leave there over the winter to store my old plant pots in.

    5) if in doubt buy it i don't think you'll be disappointed, I'm certainly not.

I'd seen those Wilko greenhouses and was thinking about it, but I've got limited space, and am in a windy location, so was a bit apprehensive. DH and I have decided instead to go for one of these http://www.norfolk-greenhouses.co.uk/shop/shop-infopage.php?longref=105~0
which is a lot smaller, but looked sturdier, and we should be able to bolt it to the wall. Has anyone used one of these, and have any feedback on them at all? Would just be for starting few trays of seeds to stop my windowsills getting cluttered up. (these people also seem to have some pretty cheap greenhouses for people who are lucky enough to have enough space!)

Mine took me about 2-3 hours to put up on my own.. instructions were poor.. also i did take my time. it was a nice day lol..

Looks good and has stood up to the weather so far... it hasnt been that bad to be honest.. I have about 15-20 bricks holding the frame down.. and dug half of the frame base into dirt as using it as part of the patch..

i am happy with the purchase
