I need someone to draw plan for house extension

I need to have an extension/loftconversion done on my property. I understand that I will need plan for planning permission and building control.

I would appreciate if someone give me and idea of how much drawing cost and possibly refer me to someone who can draw the plans for me as cheaply as possible.

I am in Grove park London.

Not sure about any London premium, but you would be looking at about £800 for detailed plans for a loft conversion. If there is an additional extension, then about £300 extra

Structural engineers fees will be extra (steel beams or special foundations), as will Party Wall Notices, and council fees

The cheapest plans are not always the best. Cheap plans mean little time spent on designwork and so you pay more later when the builder finds that things are not as drawn on the plans and so he spends more time messing about and charges you more for doing this.

Get a lump sum quote for the plans, which includes any necessary alteration work required to get the planning approval or b/regs consent.
