Holiday in Somerset Attrations?

Cricket St Thomas is near Crewkerne (about an hour away from Minehead)

Tropiquaria is not a sealife centre - its got animals you would find in a tropical forest etc - so snakes, spiders etc. Thats only about 5 minutes away.

No TGI Fridays in Somerset. Nearest one will be at the Mall, Cribbs Causeway in Bristol

we're going to somerset on saturaday as well, how strange. staying at pontins.
have decided to do longleat which mother is paying for as £85.
wookey hole, cheddar gorge and glastonbury abbey and chalice well. oh and maybe dunster castle as we belong to the nat trust.

Hope you have a good time. I think Longleat is very pricey for what is actually there - but hey you might like it.

We went to Somerset last weekend. The weather was fab.

We had a great time in Teinmouth, both on the beach and at a great little park near to the beach - my 6 year old would have spent the whole of the day there. Its safe, free and great fun for children under about 15.

And horribly noisy ... Morrisons cafe is nicer, IMO! Possibly not as entertaining, but much better VFM! :rotfl:
