Hi everyone, hope someone can give me a bit of advice
I am 3.5 years into an IVA and have recently checked my credit report from experian. My accounts that are involved in my IVA have all be marked as settled except for one. This is an old nationwide overdraft that is also included in my IVA, however it is marked as defaulted on my credit file and there is no indication that it is included in the IVA when I know that it is. It defaulted on nov 2006 (a year after the IVA started) so is due to fall off my report nov 2012 however my IVA finishes in nov 2011. There are 2 other nationwide loans included in the IVA that are marked as settled with special instruction indicators so why hasnt the overdraft been marked? I have flagged this up and credit expert has placed a notice of correction on the account stating that the default is being disputed and they have emailed me saying that Nationwide want to see my statement of completion from the IVA (which I cant provide as I havent finished yet!) If they are asking for my completion certificate surely they must know the overdraft is included on the IVA?? Im confused as to what I should do! I havent recived any correspondance from Nationwide since the IVA started either, if the overdraft wasnt included surely they would be writing to me asking for the money! The overdraft definitely was included. Anyone offer any advice what I should do next?

Not a lot you can do... whether it's defaults or marked as settled
Technically your debts are NOT settled, they are defaulted. If your IVA was to fail, your creditors would than be able to puruse your for the outstanding debts plus interest. You can (and SHOULD) insist that all notes on your file are dated as at the START of your IVA. Other than that you just have to wait until they all drop off your file a year after your IVA ends.Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?
