I have one in a pot, from Lidl, had it two years and it just stays outside, but I do move it into shelter of a south facing wall in winter, this is Hampshire BTW, not AlaskaWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0

They are in a pot indoor in the kitchen sill with no radiator. One in the lounge,I guess, they do like the central heating. I will pot it outisde.0
