Scottish Provident have now released their 2009 Critical Illness claim statistics:

• 91.3% paid (£152 million)
• 1.7% Claims declined due to non disclosure

• 7% declined due to not meeting the definition

• 92.6% of claims paid £34.5 million
• 5.3% of claims not paid due to not meeting the policy definition
• 2.1% of claims not paid due to non-disclosure
