Capillary matting how important is it
Comments
-
It can make life easier but it isn't essential. Most gardeners never use it.
Can I ask why you're growing 230 tomato plants?0 -
230 plants?? best of luck looking after those! That would be an awful lot of matting i think. I bought some from B&Q the other week as i was scared of over watering my plants. It does make life a lot easier for me as i just check if the matting is drying out or not0

Yes you can ask i have 3 different makes and i am planting all I have incase the same thing as what happened to me 2 years ago they nearly all failed, so if they all take i will be giving them to friends and family like last year they only cost me 99p for 100 seeds and 1 new tomato to try 30 seeds for 99p

Wow, that's what I call hedging your bets.
