Broken Archos 605 wifi - Best place to get it fixed?

Hi all,
After dropping my 605 wifi (clever, I know!), it wont boot at all past the initial Archos screen. It's making a whirring and clicking noise like it's trying to start but it's just not happening.
I'm trying to find somewhere that will be able to fix it but at the moment all roads seem to be leading back to Archos (UK and France) but I'm hopeful I can find an independent that will do it for cheaper and / or quicker. I'm in Manchester so anywhere up this way would be perfect, but anywhere will be fine!
Any ideas?
Thanks

Don't about repair centres, but it would sound like the disk inside is stuffed. If it is, then it probably can be replaced with a bit of know how but I would not try it myself.
Take it to a local Dixons and they will suggest some of their own repair people but it might give you a pointer.
Think its going to cost you a bundle though whoever you go to.0 -
Found this site you might want to look at http://gadgetrepairs.co.uk/shop/0
