I have recently applied for the current account, with 0% on the overdraft for 12 months.
I got the account and they emailed to say they would send details in the post.
Today i got a letter from them but its only giving me my customer ID and letting me know about internet banking. no pin yet so cant log on.
When will i find out if it matched my current overdraft amount and when will they transfer direct debits?
Im a bit confused????

PINs and IDs should ALWAYS be sent out separately and on separate days by any bank for security reasons.
Just be patient - the PIN will arrive in a day or two.
DDs will take a while but you can see what's been set up in the DD list when you go online. Don't expect it to be quick. It's not something that can be done instantaneously.0 -
you will get lots of letters from them in the next few weeks. It all comes separately.
As for matching your OD... mmmmmm, well they didnt do that for me, but to be honest I am not interested in having a large OD limit (Had 1700 on my HSBC, Alliance gave me 350) I guess I could have contacted them to match it if I had wanted to.
The other thing to watch out for is that all the DD's I requested to transfer didnt go over, seven did switch sucessfully and two of them got cancelled from my old HSBC account but didnt travel across to my new A&L. When I ranfg the companied to set them up myself, they told me that they dont accept switching from a 3rd party and would only accept a switch that came directly from me.
As it was , no harm done and everything got paid on time.
Took about 5 weeks to get my £100 too!£2 coin challenge = 50/250 (20% there)
Olympic challenge = 0.7% paid off0
