Which Linux?

  • Have you used linux before? If no then go for Fedora Core or Ubuntu. If you want that real linux feel, then go for ubuntu. Fedora Core is generally nicer to use.

    I used to use linux (mostly redhat) about 9 years ago, stopped using it about 5 years ago.

    The thing I like about XP is that you don't spend half your life doing system admin. But with things like the draconian DRM coming into windows I think it might be time to switch back to open source.
