  • Me neither....I never have the nerve for a lot of things that involve money saving....I think I need to stop being a coward n just get on with it! Even using manufacturer coupons gives me the jitters just incase they say 'No'!

Go for it! I only started to use coupons this year and never shop without them now!

I used 3 of these today (16 different coupons altogether), in FOUR visits to Tesco! First I went to a large store where they take 5 different coupons per shop - no problems, this is their policy, it's nothing to worry about! Deliberately bought a few non-perishables (so I could use 5 coupons now and 5 later on another lot of stuff)!

But the lady said 'is this an internet coupon? We don't take them'. I know they do but I never argue about it (unless they say they don't take any!) So I gave her a different lower-value one, then went to the M&S sale next door.

An hour later I did the rest of my shopping, £50+ and the till guy took one of your lovely £2.26 coupons along with 4 different other ones. No problems, they scan and Tesco will get the money back.

This evening I needed some petrol, had not had time earlier! (I get my petrol at Tesco of course). So on the way to the same big store I went to a small Metro where they will happily take one coupon without buying the product. Bought around a fiver's worth of toiletries and the guy took the coupon OK.

Then back for 3rd visit to large Tesco, stocked up on drinks and crisps for my kids as we are off on hols at the weekend, and handed over another 5 coupons including the lovely £2.26 one.

DON'T waste it! Coupons with this value that you can print yourself don't come along too often! Thanks davodedthomas!!

  • Am I being daft or are you all saying that these £2.26 MAX POWER coupons can be used against anything?

You're being daft!!! No only kiddin. A couple of the major supermarkets will accept 1 or more coupons if you haven't purchased the items. However using one printed from the internet may not be wise unless you are a seasones MSE coupon expert :T as most don't accept these kinds of coupon.

There are many other coupons though - on other threads in this forum. A good one to follow is the Newspaper thread.
