    Hi everyone

Not got a hope in H of an NSD as I'm meeting friends for lunch and I've got to pay for the next block of yoga classes tonight (although all budgeted for) but I'll still manage a few small things, and as we know, it's the small things that really add up to make a big difference.

    So today I have/will:
    - post mum's mother's day card - still time to send it 2nd class:money:
    - leftover lasagne for tea tonight with chips and salad
    - do something nice with a bag of apples that are going a bit wrinkly. If all else fails I'll freeze them, but apple turnover is sounding more appealing...
    - paint my own nails...did spend £9.98 on a base and top coat :eek:but they look so much better and I feel so much better about them now so no temptation to visit the nail bar!
    - will make a sandwich for tomorrow's lunch
    - will take another fish out of the freezer for tomorrow night's tea - another one of the batch we got for free so will taste even better! (Last night's salmon was delicious!)

Stokelady - nice to see you!

Catch up later tonight (at work...)

    Afternoon all!

Bit of a weird day - got an text message asking me to check my email, checked it and there was an invitation for an interview for a teaching job for tomorrow:eek::eek::eek:. The job was the first one I applied for and I've since seen better ones closer to home so after much panic and a discussion with my mentor I turned the interview down - scary thing to do but the mentor and uni tutor are convinced I can do better - hope they're right:o

Then my review was sprung on me with 10 mins notice but it all turned out to be ok - I am apparently an Ofsted graded Outstanding teacher! Think they've got the wrong person but am happy to take it!
I also got my reference from my uni tutor which didn't sound like me - strange how other people see you in comparison to your own views....

So a good day but quite a stressy one.

    In addition I have/will...
    • Walked dog
    • Bathed dog (he's currently sulking in a wet heap)
    • Took lunch to work
    • Will check banks
    • Stay in tonight and watch the soaps
    • Do a bit more of job app that I really do want
    • Make packed lunch for tomorrow
    • Try and write one lesson for next week (not much of an effort but every little helps)
    • Think about Saturday's shopping list/meal plan
That's it for today... have a good evening

Hi everyone, just taking a bit of time out from Interview preparation.

Hardly done anything else past few days and will go on until next wednesday when I have my interview. Its a job I would love and know I can do.Whilst its a promotion I won't be better off initially as currently I get enhancements for working evenings and weekends and there won't be much of that in this job.

Soo I am up to my eyeballs in change management and leadership, I have read and re read the job description and think I can come up with answers and examples of experience related to this.

The house is a mess, no surveys or competitions are getting done and i'm burning the midnight oil.

If I don't get the job it won't be because i haven't put the effort in.

Will pop back when I can if only to come back to the real world for a bit :o
