Great account, great customer service. For a long-term savings account it does the business.
Postal operation (though BACS in and out), but when you're treating it long-term that's no drawback.

ps - Saga did a similar account but the rates were nowhere near as good. When calculating what the average of the top 5 accounts was, Saga excluded bonus accounts and notice accounts, which are usually higher paying. Investec includes these, so their 'average' is much higher.0 -

Don't forget the £50 for new account holders if referred by an existing customer. I did this when I opened my account and got the cash straight away. See the referrals board for more details.0
