Bought car, BUT service history problem

Hi, bought a used car about 3/4 weeks ago from Carcraft.
Really pleased with the car. Really pleased with service to date.
The service book/history was not with the car. The salesman said it had a "full service history with JCT600" and "I wouldn't expect you to buy this car without a service history".
He promised to send it to us when it arrived.
To date nothing.
We phoned Carcraft and they said they would get the salesman to ring us, he didn't.
My wife rang the salesman direct, he said he'd chase it up and get back to us................it will be a week on Friday.
Where do I stand?

keep chasing carcraft
phone jct600 (leasing company) they will have records of service history and are normally very helpful.
strong chance the service book is lost but as its a lease car it will have been fully serviced there will be records somewhere,
if jct have'nt kept records (as car is off lease) try and find out where abouts in the country the car came from and phone Nationwide Autocentres they are first choice service agents for jct invoices will be on system (they will post them for a small fee)0 -
Thank you so much for your help.
Will keep pestering.Do you have a leesonce for yer minkey?0 -
Go to a main dealer all the information will be on their system if it has a main dealer service history.0

Oh dear. Carcraft really do embody everything that is wrong with the car sales industry. Now you have paid, you are going to find it incredibly difficult to get anywhere. Keep ringing them or go down to the showroom and do not leave until it is sorted to your satisfaction.0

Go back to Carcraft with an axe, perferably dripping in blood and place it casually on the salesmans desk and calmly ask for a coffee whilst he makes the call to JCT.... and keep rocking backwards and forwards mumbling 'they didnt listen to me'
Seriously though JCT keep excellent service records and they can, at a cost, reissue a stamped service book.'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

You can either reject the car, or claim back the difference in cost to that of a car with no service history. But you may have to take them to court over it.0

How can you reject the car?
My axe method is better....'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.
