Need help with "Recovery of Overpaid Grant"

Right, been in touch with student finance, who passed me onto DMBC, who passed me onto the college. College says in the notes that the course was cancelled and they will send a letter out today to confirm this, to DMBC. My last date of attendance was 5th May 2008.

Anyone who works in this sector know if I will get this £900 overpayment overturned at all?

Hmm,

Weirdly i did the same course at high melton in doncaster and got support from DMBC last year.

I have also recieved a letter today saying i was overpayed and need to repay £1020.

Although in my case i left my course a month before the end.

Maybe DMBC is struggling for money and trying to get some back?

Any repayment is for the SLC, and not the college.

Leaving a month before the end will mean you need to repay the £1020 in full.
