Lastminute.com & hotels payment question

Having a bad day. Problems with credit card so left it too late to book the hotel i wanted this saturday after a friend offered to pay with theirs if i gave them the cash today. So am now looking online for other options and have found another hotel not too far from where i need to be.
Problem is - The website i was booking through doesn't do bookings for this hotel, others that do such as Londontown take the credit card number but you pay when you get to the hotel. I won't be seeing my friend now before the weekend to get my cash back and am not all that flush at the mo so need to make a booking where the hotel payment will be taken in advance off the card. Do lastminute.com do this? So long since i've used them i can't remember
Please help!
