Reading this with interest an dwhilst I think you have very little chance of success i was struck by some of the judgemental comments on here.
It seems that people seem fit to judge others based on a few posts in a forum. Not really surprised at some of teh bitteness, ive seen a real rise in it in here and its so easy to be bold behind a computer.
Put the whole mortgage thing down to experience and remember to learn from your mistakes. I made mistakes, lost a home and had a child but believe me if you remain positive and focus on what you want, things will improve.
I think some of the morons on here are trying to point out the simple fact that you made the decision and have to live with the consequences, which is true but you didnt come on here for a life lesson! Soem just get off on lecturing and judging others.
Good luck Sarah Jane and remember theres always someone worse off than you.0 -

Mentioning the word compensation on here is like placing a drop of blood in pirahna infested waters.0 -

.
Blah blah blah - you're not going to get sympathy for trying to claim for misselling/reclaiming/compensation for making a mistake. When misselling happens (which, by the way, is a lot less frequent than this web site would have you believe), then the poster gets all the support going.
AND freeoffers, you cannot say the respondents are judgemental AND morons as that is (ironically) moronically - not sure if thats a word - judgemental.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Compensation is awarded for loss or damage suffered. Not because personal circumstances have changed. Of which there are numerous reasons why this could happen.
Given genuine circumstances you'll find enormous support on here to right a wrong.
As at the end of the day. Compensation is paid for by others. Something which gets overlooked too often.
Pirahna's serve a useful purpose in fact.0 -
You needed to think about this when you took out the mortgage, why did you mortgage yourself up to the hilt?
I would just fade away you are not going to get any sympathy from these vultures, they will just give you loads of grief....0 -

Is that what you do when there are difficult situations to deal with fade away? Resort to abusive name calling. Posting cartoons and comical pictures. Being cynical when you don't like an alternative view. So very childish and tiresome.
I'm sure the OP is quite capable of reading the responses. Then deciding upon her choice of course of action.0 -
