Hello All,
from my mate and I'm stumped?! I've spent a bit of time round his and can't get it sorted? I posted in another forum and that has resulted in zero response, I know
If you have any idea please shout loudly!
"I have a Medion Quad core pc thats running a Nvidia geforce 8600 gt that outputs via HDMI VGA DVI and has a daughter board with scart, component, composite and Svideo ports.
I've just bought a huged 'kin telly that is now connected by HDMI. The house is wired via RF coaxial, which suits my needs as rewiring is not an option now, which is fed via a scart output from the pc to an RF Converter.
When I first connected the TV to the pc, I had my HD picture and the scart to RF converter was outputting to the house tv's (kitchen and bedroom) just as I wanted it to.
I then reset the screen font size as it was too big on the main TV, and now I can only get an RF signal if I connect the pc scart connection into a spare (!) tv, this then triggers the feedback to the pc and then I can connect it to the RF converter.
This then messes up the resolution on the main TV which switches out of HD mode.
So, questions are:
How can I convince the pc to act as it did when I first set it up? That would be the cheapest and most obvious suggestion? I get my HD via HDMI and the house gets it's RF feed.
If folks think it's a non-starter, where next?
Can anyone recommend an alternative graphics card that *will* feed both the HDMI in HD mode and the RF in 'normal TV' mode?"
Ta in advance,
