Very; just click the sell button and away you go.
If its your first time you might want to do a dry run first.
Ensure you have selected the correct category to list under, if unsure do a search for your item and see where the others list.
Check each stage carefully and decide what extras you want, your postage and packing rates and services your returns policy, selling abroad or just UK, payment methods accepted.
Have at least one photo ready to go and best to use gallery (tends to be the only extra I use)
Make sure your heading covers your item and will result in it being found also no spelling mistakes esp in listing title. Make sure your description is accurate and honest.
Before you confirm go away for 10 minutes and come back and re-read your listing with a fresh eye before confirming the listing.0 -

thanks to everyone. however how do things like the reserve price etc work.
also i have seen people advertise very low to get the attention. how does
this work and is this any good?0 -
You can only put a reserve of £50 or greater.
I would suggest starting the auction at the minimum you are prepared to accept if you are thinking about a reserve price. I hate when sellers have a reserve and it costs more if the item fails to sell.
Many folk swear by the 99p opening price I'm too much of a coward for that and I use the BIN a lot but whatever you decide research past sales and get a feel for what your item should sell for and decide on the tactics that suit you.
With BIN items the end time is fairly unimportant but with auctions it might be crucial so research that too.
To be honest much on EBay is trial and error.0 -
