OMG my PP acc is -£83! Buyer dispute!

My buyer says my item is significantly not as described.
He has opened a PP dispute he is bought 3 CDs from me but is onluy disputing 1. But my PP account is -£83 not the £20 for that ONE cd.
I have offered him a partial refund but Im worried that PP will just side with him and give him the whole £83 therefore getting all the CDs for free.
Item was described as having a few scratches (its a cd) but hes saying theres more than a few!
Ive replied to the dispute stating that hes only disputing 1 cd and that I will refund him partially
Please help! The buyer keeps emailing me saying that if I send him £10 now he'll close the case - I can tell that he knows how PP works ie siding with the buyer - only thing is I dont have £10 until Tuesday.
Tearing my hair out here!

Will it not let you make a partial refund when viewing the dispute. If it doesn't be careful sending payment any other way as paypal will not know you have done it.0

If it's a SNAD dispute, he'll have to send them back to you (tracked) to get his money back.Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

Thanks, yeah I know he'd have to send it back but Ive agreed to a partial refund, mainly b/c this guy is such a !!! I just want shut of him.
Can I ask how you do partial refunds? On the dispute there is a button for Full refund but not partial0 -

If you click on refund you can opt to refund just a percentage of the total, just double check what you are doing before you click confirm!
You will also see that the fees associated with that refund are returned to you as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. thats what he said.
he emailed me at first, saying that where id put ' few scratches' there were not a 'few' to him but lots. trust me if there were lots i wouldnt have sold it. he then replied asking for a partial refund of £10 because he'd never seena cd this scratched on ebay. i said no to this. his reply? we'll see what paypal has to say. and within the same minute i had a email from paypal saying that the dispute had been opened.
i dare say this wont of been hte first time the buyer has done this but what concerns me is that instead of being -£20 for that one cd, im down the whole amount that he paid.
i wont be selling on ebay until this is sorted, otherwise everything that i sell, the money will just be paying off my balance.:(0 -
It might be worth ringing paypoo about this...did he pay a combined invoice? Even if he did, if the auctions were separate, they shouldn't be added together in dispute.0
