Successful claim... now waiting

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help me with this... I have successfully reclaimed my PPI from Lloyds TSB, they sent me an offer of what i've paid so far plus 8% on each months payment. I accepted their offer and they received my acceptance 21 days ago.

My question is, do they have a time limit to settle the repayment from receiving my acceptance? I have called Lloyds twice now (after 7 and then 14 days) but I don't get any help, all I get told is that there is a back log and they will deal with it when they get to it.
My step mother used a reclaim company (before I told her I could do it for her using MSE website) and she got a pay out within 14 days of accepting.

Welcome kelevra, and congratulations:T:jthey seem to drag their feet with their payouts I'm sure Di will be along to give you advice with Lloyds. Iam waiting to see I am successful with claim still.........taking ages now with FOS.

Hi There

No they do not have to pay out within a certain time. The timescales they give are usually guidelines. They are so busy paying out all this money at the moment that they get really busy. Best thing you can do is to ring them weekly for an update.

Well done to you.:beer:

My hubby is still waiting for his refund from LLoyds in regards of the Credit Card ppi, he signed and accepted at end Nov 2009, although it was through the FOS, they do have backlogs as Maxdp also stated, however the FOS are still chasing this up for him.

Hope you receive this soon, fingers crossed.;)

Just sent off our PPI claim on a lloyds tsb loan, been a week since we sent off our letter so were just at the start
