I ordered new poles for the whole house, had 3 of them today and when I chased the rest which say dispatched for delivery the CS checked and they havent because there's no stock and that I should ignore what I get emailed or told in my account as its a load of rubbish, when I ordered they were in stock and were for the next 8 hours!

Tesco direct is absolutely cr*p and I definately would not recommend them, the customer service person i spoke to was no help and pretty much said tough you can't have them anything else I can help you with?

Does anyone have an address/contact for someone more senior in the company I can complain to?

I once emailed Tesco direct about a cooker I bought not being the same as the picture, they offered me 10% refund or they'd come and collect it. I was happy with the refund. I phoned Tesco cs on sunday to cancel an order, I got the impression it was a vast call centre they didn't even ask me why I wanted to cancel.

Don't bother.

I placed a fairly large order at about 8am yesterday morning. All was supposed to be delivered today. I have jsut had a phone call to say none of the curtain poles, finials or bean bags going to be delivered.

Did any one order these items after 8am and had them delivered or collected from store yet, please. I'm waiting a call back (optimistic I know!) from some one more senior to discuss.

On 10/3/10 placed an order for blinds, bedding @ poles.

Received all of the items this afternoon.

Ordered some blinds wednesday night, and got a telephone call this afternoon, apologising for not contacting me sooner, but to inform me that my order has been cancelled, and the money will be refunded back onto my card.

Just wondered what the quality was like......was criticised as being very 'thin' on the comments on the Tesco site.

Am picking it up from the store on Tuesday.
