    Can't Df cook the dinner?

He could, but its not advised, we would starve or worse die.

The other night he cooked, i got my chicken on my plate, had to wait another 10 minutes for the potatoes, then he had forgot about the veg.

He's a man and he cant multi task, even beans on toast brings him out in a cold sweat.

And when he does manage to get everything on the plate at the same time, there is always something that isnt cooked properly, once he served me raw chicken. And if he does steak, the cow is still mooing when i like mine medium to well done.

I love M&S dine in for £10 deals which are for 2 people so great to see they are only charging £5 more for a meal for 4!
Lucky wins - Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar; Starbucks Coffee & £20 Gift Card; Amazing Hen Weekend at Dunblane Hydro; Heat Magazine Book Bundle; Le Crueset Goodies :j

Wishing everyone some magic fairy pixie dust for luck!
  • I got a £8.50 chicken, was the biggest I found! The other meat options looked better price wise, beef joints were around £10-£11 but I only eat chicken & am not cooking a dinner I cant eat! :)
Didnt get wine either as i dont drink so didnt save the most mossible but still was nearly £5 off, happy with that!

i got a £13 leg of lamb, the cubed potatoes, the pink fizz and the melting chocolate pudding. i save just under £13, so all good here!

as for having to prepare the meat, most of the meat i saw apart from the chicken just has to be unwrapped and put on a baking tray, not really hard work, the chicken did come on a tray ready for the oven.
  • In the Preston store this morning I got:
9 bottles of Sicilian Bianco (3 for £10)
1 Rose Chardonnay Frizzante from the meal deal
1 Raso Cruz Red from the meal deal
    1 Saurin Red
1 half leg lamb priced at £15.50
1 beef joint priced at £11.99
    1 x traditional roasting veggies
1 x parmentier potatoes (no roasting potatoes)
    2 x cheese selection

Should have been £101, my price - £51!!

The two bottles in the two meal deals did indeed count towards the 25% offer as did the wine which was 3 for £10

I got a chicken biggest one after a search and some strange looks from other customers was £7.90, roast veg, hot choc pud and wine

beef and lamb would have saved more money wise but joints were smaller.

this chicken will be cut in half, half for freezer and half for sunday dinner then left overs for a pie.

would like to give this a try, but I'm a bit confused about the wine situation. I see "3 for £10" and "25% off" mentioned in previous posts??

Have brother in law home from australia on sunday so 2 x £15 deal plus a few more bottles of wine would be ideal!

If you buy 6 bottles of wine, you get 25% off. It also includes the wine that is in the meal deal, so for example, if you bought 2 meal deals - includes 2 bottles of wine - and a further 4 bottles of wine, you would get 25% off the full price of the 6 bottles of wine.

Also, some wine is on offer for 3 bottles for £10, so a good deal to do would be to have 3 of the £10 bottles of wine included in your 6 bottles, and once again, you would get 25% off the FULL cost of the 3 for £10 bottles, not 25% off of £10.

Hope you understand this - I'm away in tomorrow to stock up!

I have just come back from my local M&S (Simply Food) - I bought 6 bottles wine (from the 3 for 10 offer) but I only got a 10% discount.

Yes, I had a funny feeling it was just 10% discount, but it was the post by kinder kedder that mentioned the 25% discount, but when I looked up the website, it is only French wines that get 25% discount - so look out for the French ones (not sure if any of the meal deal wines are French, or the 3 for £10 are French - perhaps someone could let us know?) Thanks
