You work and toil and earn bread, and I'll eat it (Abraham Lincoln)
So you make jest of slavery, but you agree with it's principals?
You have said over and over again that people who CHOOSE to be on benefits are doing nothing wrong, because it is what they are entitled to.
Tax payers work, toil and pay their taxes, whilst those who CHOOSE to be on benefits receive those taxes in the form of benefits for nothing.
Kind of like modern day slavery for those that work.
This is probably too far a leap for your bigoted mind.0 -

Seriously I'm sorry, I know you wanted the internet all to yourself. I do understand why you can't take it when I trounce your posts all over the net. Sorry about that.
Not at all, I rather enjoy taking in other peoples views and opinions on a subject that is relevant to myself.
Where has a single post of mine been trounced all over the net? I am not sure you even understand half of the stuff you write, and you certainly can't spell most of it.
All you have actually done is reply to my posts with your own bigoted opinion. You have refused to accept that ANY poster on this thread can have an opinion that is different to yours. Because of this you have started arguing on your own and throwing insults at people.
No one is really interested in what you have to say, it is just becoming tedious even replying to you.
You really do need to get out more.0 -
Got to wait for the next school break for a reply, then he can use his iphone the government paid for to put his next professional bigot reply up.
I used doing peoples gardens as quite a good example in reality, I am already paying the none workers with a percentage of my wage so why shouldn't they do something for me.
Its more the point that they should put something back into the area, to which it could be doing gardens, litter picking, helping an elderly person with heavy shopping.
The end of the day I would have a good chat with someone if they where sent round and see if there was anything I could help them with as I have quite a large range on skills.
You will find I have been unemployed for a short time (3 weeks) and I actually did voluntary work for 2 weeks.
The problem is I am making a geniune effort to make my local area a better place, but the actions of one man isn't enough. There is people out there who have a lot more spare time than me due to not having a job and if they wanted they could make a huge difference.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Percy1983 I think just about everybody can see your point, it is only deepmistrust who refuses to remove the blinkers.
The people you are talking about could never be classed as slaves, (just deepmistrust going way off the mark as usual), they are more than likely getting a better income (net after costs, but including all other benefits received before deepmistrust jumps on it) than another person who works full time on minimum wage. So having to do some sort of community work for their money is a reasonable idea.
There are plenty of jobs that could be created for this "workforce" irrelevant of skills or education.
That is similar to the workfare scheme, I think it was LizzieS ? mentioned earlier.0 -
Its true we do have varying ideas, but the one common thing is that you shouldn't be rewarded for doing nothing.
Meanwhile deepmistrust believes you should be rewarded for doing nothing.
We say you do nothing you get less or even nothing.
Meanwhile deepmistrust believes you should get more than somebody who works for doing nothing.
deepmistrust, are you a professonal at doing nothing? all you arguements would make perfect sense if thats the case.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Your ability to read is as poor as your ability to rationalise your beliefs.
If you think you can find anywhere I said that a person should be "rewarded" for "doing nothing", then I'll credit your argument with something more than the inane witterings of an idiot whose only line of defence is an argument based upon strawmen and ad hominen.
To call you tedious, is an insult only to tedious.
What is clear is that the pair of halfwits Percy and Liam aka Dumb and Dumber (and the other pipsqueak Poppyoscar who occassionally pops up to say nothing at all) who frequent this thread with all their desperate might, are growing increasingly desperate in their attempts to deflect from the fact they have yet to counter a single argument that has been presented to them. (And no, countering strawmen arguments doesn't actually count).
As for the most inane insult ever "you must be at school yada yada". I'll give you a chance to think about that one.All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -
Deepmistrust I think you will find all of your arguments have been answered to their entirety, but you have chosen to ignore them and continue to rant and rave.
Just about every time one of your arguments has been answered, you come back with a completely different argument about something else.
You seem to be a very angry person, with a lot of issues.
You have nothing but your own bigoted opinion to add to an open debate, and when things appear not to be going your way, you resort to personal insults.
You are becoming very repetitive and quite pathetic.0 -
Deepmistrust as you are a relatively new member to this forum, I think it would be in your own interest to check out the Forum Etiqeutte section, particularly this point:
Don't feed the trolls : Sadly the web has a habit of throwing up a very small but vocal number of trolls, people who are nasty or contrary just to get a rise out of you. If someone’s doing this, simply don’t reply, just report it to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com. If you get involved and fling mud back, you risk being barred from using the forum too.
(with you being the troll, if you couldn't work that out for yourself)0 -
To which when we later decide to play your personal insults game you don't like it.
When we mis-quote or assume things you say/mean we are idiots, yet you are highly intelligent for it.
Either way you still haven't replied to 510, I said this is what I would do, what would you do?... to which you said I was all wrong but didn't say what you would do.
Basically you keep saying points made by others are wrong, but your not actually making any points yourself.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

OK, you're wearing out the word bigot - you've already demostrated your lack of understanding to what one is. And you call me repetitive? Hahaha:rotfl:
No one is insulting you. Observations are not insults. The only one chucking (the most hilariously banal) insults around here like "he's waiting till playtime to reply on his iphone" (I mean !!!!!! :rotfl:) is those certain people who are (not so) cunningly disguising their lack of ability to address the points by continually wittering on about spelling or typos yada yada instead.
Seriously, there are numerous unanswered questions up there, that neither of you seem to have the depth of understanding to address. It's ok, you can witter on about iphones and school instead, no one will notice you're avoiding them. All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0
