iTunes breaks CD burns!

Options
How can I stop this happening?

When I am burning a CD, I find that switching (Alt-TAB) to iTunes causes it to scan the CD drives which causes a buffer under-run error  . (I am using Burrrrn to make the CDs BTW).

How can I prevent this behaviour in iTunes on Windows XP Pro?

when you are burning a CD let it burn, and leave all alone, some say you shouldn't even move your mouse,

Totally agree with replies so far, leave it alone until the cd has finished.
ITunes can be cpu hungry at the best of times, so do not use it when burning a cd.

when on a CD burning run, I barely have enough time to write/print the track listing and get another CD ready to want to spending time doing anything else.
