pack of cheesestrings 11p again sainsburys

A while ago someone posted about getting these cheesestrings for 11p in sainsburys ( either here or on hduk?) I never managed to find any at the time, anyway low and behold in my sainsburys this morning there they were - only 11p on the white multipack variety though, might be worth people looking out for?

I'll have a look but heaven knows how they get away with calling these 'cheese'. Children love them though:p Ill just have to take a pair of serving tongs with me to pick them up as I wont touch the things!

  • I'm ashamed to say I love these! Did they have the price on the shelf or just a reduced sticker on the packs?

    Just thought i'd mention this,

I always thought cheese strings were junk food, until I attended a focus group for cheesestrings. They are 100% cheddar! Its lots of strings of cheese packed together, thats why they peel apart. I don't like them myself, but thats purely becasue I don't like the name of them!

Just because it is 100% cheese does not mean it is not junk.

Will you people STOP hijacking these types of posts with your sneering, pointless comments. Thanks to the OP, a useful post. If you don't like bloody cheese strings, don't buy them, but shut up with your negative tirades!!
