Painting Stairs & Landing - Help Urgently Required

Hello,

I am about to paint our stairs and landing - my query is how to actually get at the high bits over the stairs - is there a special ladder you can hire ??

Many Thanks

No need to hire a special ladder.
I have used a normal ladder rested up against the drop from the stairs - just use extra caution. I used tea-towels on the end of the ladder to stop any dirty marks from the ladder getting onto the wall.

Or use a roller / pad on a pole?
  • HSS hire out the proper ladders for the job, one side is twice as long as the other, and are nice and secure when placed on the stairs. It's best to be safe, and it was only about £30 for the weekend.
